(✿◕‿◕) Mini shopping haul 150612 (◕‿◕✿)

A late post sorry ●︿●

Another mini haul but this time from Sainsburys. Been looking at reviews of Bio-Oil and manage to get it for £15.99 compared to Boots and Superdrug £19.99. This is for 200ml and Boots currently has their 200ml on offer 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free' however this only applies online to my disappointment. Would have been so worth it getting 400ml for £19.99 -sighs- (◔̯◔).

The Batiste range was 1/3 off the original price: Batiste Dry Shampoo Coconut and Exotic Tropical 400ml £3.32 was £4.99 and  Batiste Dry Shampoo Fruity and Cheeky Cherry 200ml £1.99 was £2.99. To be honest there's been a lot of mixed reviews about dry shampoo particular this brand but I suppose it's how you use it.

Clear bottle with information on the back. For 200ml I guess it will go a long way.

Since this purchase I have used the Batiste Coconut Dry Shampoo and I have to admit it really does its job so BIG THUMBS UP BABEH!!! When I previously used Lee Stafford 'Poker Straight for Oily Roots' Dry Shampoo (quick research-I think they've changed around a few words so now it's Lee Stafford Original Dry Shampoo'), I probably did everything that was wrong when using dry shampoo. It was just after I had my fringe freshly done after many years of avoiding hair touching my oily face. Thought I'd gear myself up before my forehead rages at me (I've been battling acne since early teens...and I'm 22 now...-weeps-).

It was difficult for me to avoid big white patches due to spritzing a bit too near but now I just lightly spray around the "gweasy" roots and softly rub the shampoo into my scalp. Smells nice yet sis makes out that I'm suffocating her from the next room. Good thing we have small wall mirrors around the house so I'm not having hold any mirrors or strictly inside the bathroom to put on my makeup or style my hair with sufficient lighting etc.

Bio-Oil: still to rate
Batiste Dry Shampoos: 7/10 (swear it kinda fogs up my vision or it's just me being careless).

"감사합니다" (Thank you in Korean)

New Malden today with mum and sis!! :D Very excited because it would be my mum's first time dining in an authentic Korean restaurant even though we do from time to time cook Korean cuisine at home (aside the fact that my dad and sis aren't so keen on the powerful flavour of our home-made kimchi bwhaha). I just happen to be yapping about the amount of Korean restaurants there were in New Malden as opposed to London and it was decided yesterday.

Making our way to New Malden...we ALWAYS and no joke...get lost. My mum and I would try to be all clever to "remember" the roads we'd come across in the past. You can probably guess...we got lost yet again. This has happened for the third time this year! Alone! Oh how we never learn xD. Many roads later and "oh this is on the way to...", found the perfect car park and scuttled our way to Sorabol ^^. (Research: formally known as Asadal before it changed to this one).

The restaurant itself on the outside (sorry forgot to take pic >"<) is not big and there was probably around 8 tables seating at least 4 people and where it's located is just off a roundabout on High Street, New Malden.

The layout for the shared appetiser ●‿●
Drinks: all chose green tea (£1.50-big pot to share)
Appetisers: Mixed jeon platter (£8-healthy ♥)
Mains: I went for Kimchi Chige (£ 6.50) whereas sis had beef bulgogi bento and my mum went for teriyaki rice dish.
Before they end the lunchtime slot at 3pm, we managed to get there say an hour beforehand and I have to admit this has filled me up so much now past midnight starting to feel quite hungry (◕︵◕). As we were the last people to leave, I thought it would be better to show our appreciation for the food so reminding myself how to say thank you politely to the lady, did a quick research on my phone in case I say the wrong thing and yeah...as she cleared up our drinks I politely thanked her for the meal "kam-sah-am-nida" and she said "wow! :D kam-sah-am-nida". Yay I said the right thing and impressed her as well hehe (°⌣°).

So yeah to finish off I would STRONGLY recommend dining at Sorabol in New Malden. Also have to admit it taste authentic to me as opposed to the London branches I've dined at. Happy eating!!

#1 Fashion Treasure

Typical rainy day in the UK for the past few weeks and finally out of uni so shopping in Greenwich with mum and sis. Just wondering around Greenwich Shopping Park where my favourites stores: H&M, River Island, Topshop and Boots were. As I do it would normally be me browsing store by store and I was really hoping to find the Seamless Doctors Bag from Topshop but sadly I was too late.

The top has a nice gradient effect with plenty of studs around both shoulders

My mum's scared of the spikes but she was the one who didn't mind the idea of having studs on my shirt collar (when I eventually find a good shirt to destroy...I mean to decorate).

It's comfy and it's one of those oversized tops which I forgot to mention at the beginning. Just slugs off my shoulders nicely and yes I do have broad shoulders...and they're chubby on the downside when it comes to trying on tight-fitted clothing -sighs-.

Finally found the time to get the Maybelline's Gel Liner in brown, along with the 3 for 2 Maybelline deal at Boots so I decided to treat myself to not one but two Color Sensational Popsticks in the shades 010 Pink Sugar and 030 Pink Lollipop.

Yes I have read many reviews about these and mostly...well..negative (╥﹏╥). I assumed with the translucent, sheer effect it wouldn't leave any colour but a shiny layer on my hand. This did put me off buying one at first but I'm one of those people who would contemplate a few weeks later before making the final decision.

The shades (Pudding app)
I get a bit squeamish when it comes to the testers and it was only when I got back home that they smell absolutely fruity and gorgeous. Very summery as opposed to the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter I bought a few week back from now (better do a review as I speak ^.^").

So yeah can't wait to try these and see how they look on my lips (might do a review on that as well on a sunny day :3).
