hello everybody!

It's not easy deciding which nail art to try out but I've tried this cartoon effect on my sister so took it upon my self. There are some ways of doing this technique but I'll show one way of doing it.

Nails Inc in Lemon Ice Cream 307, Revlon in Sweet Tart 185, MUA in shade 5, shade 6, shade 9 and Rio Professional Nail Art Pens in Black and White

Paint one thin layer on each fingernail to avoid bubbles

Using the Rio fine brush in black carefully draw an outline of each nail

Switching to the Rio white nail brush draw on the side of the nail making a long exclamation mark (!)

Cartoon nail art done!

Quick swatches of Clarins Instant Smooth Crystal Lip Balms

Probably was a bad idea relying on my phone quality for taking pictures but I had no choice to be fair. Boots only had three testers out and I think I know which one I'm leaning more towards due to the red tone and understanding what colour compliments my skin tone (dark yellow I would believe is mine).

1: 04 Crystal Red, 2: 01 Crystal Pink and 3: Crystal Coral

Sadly the phone quality lacked the true potential of showing the colours but I'm quite keen on Crystal Red only because I feel the Pink and Coral might not show up on my lips. I've also noticed they have the pigmented balm within the centre of the whole thing which looked nice but until I buy one I'll be able to see how long it'll last on my lips! The lip balm itself was nice and smooth almost reminding me of Revlon's Lip Butter or some jelly consistency...mmm

(✿◕‿◕) Mini shopping haul 090612 (◕‿◕✿)

Finally found the time to get the Maybelline's Gel Liner in brown, along with the 3 for 2 Maybelline deal at Boots so I decided to treat myself to not one but two Color Sensational Popsticks in the shades 010 Pink Sugar and 030 Pink Lollipop.

Yes I have read many reviews about these and mostly...well..negative (╥﹏╥). I assumed with the translucent, sheer effect it wouldn't leave any colour but a shiny layer on my hand. This did put me off buying one at first but I'm one of those people who would contemplate a few weeks later before making the final decision.

I get a bit squeamish when it comes to the testers and it was only when I got back home that they smell absolutely fruity and gorgeous. Very summery as opposed to the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter I bought a few week back from now (better do a review as I speak ^.^").

So yeah can't wait to try these and see how they look on my lips (might do a review on that as well on a sunny day :3).
