hello everybody!

My boyfriend told me that ToysRUs are now selling Minecraft stuff [eeeee imagine how excited I was!!] so as I looked on their website it was pretty much the same products that are sold in other stores so... heart breaking moment lolz.

All that was about to change as I decided to visit my boyfriend whilst he was at work. It was a surprise as he didn't check his phone beforehand so that was a good thing (oh I lurve him so much)

Pointed me to the Minecraft section (was walking round the store like a n00b searching high and low for green anything!!) and...saw the cute baby Pig, baby Mooshroom plushies and survival packs!!

Of course being me I erm...went for the cute stuff :D but before I went to see him I was in town picking up bits and bobs that would be useful to me atm (as well as mums shopping list)

I bought this fabric glue from the 99p Store 

This would save me time stitching on fabrics together when in a rush or too lazy to drag out sewing machine, hooking up the thread again etc etc :)

Nice and sealed up! Just use the lid to puncture a hole through the foil

Dynamode USB Soundcard from Currys/PC World

Ever since I bought the headset to talk and play games with my friends, sadly my Macbook didn't have a microphone jack available so this was perfect for the job.

It works!

Looking forward to trying to glue out but sadly the 99p Store tends to change around their lines of products each week if not each month so fingers cross it's a must-stay product 

(wait...I've not tried it yet what am I saying)

Instagram week #1

hello everybody!

As some of you may not know I have decided to expand my "interests" towards Instagram and Lookbook. Sadly I have not posted any "looks" up on Lookbook but have been trying out Instagram. 

The issue I've heard about Instagram is the stealing of existing images from other accounts and people claiming it's theirs. This was one of the reasons why I've not had Instagram since it became available for Androids. Watermarking the images before posting them up on Instagram would resolve the problem just about...

1. rabbit inspired nail art, 2. watermelon, 3-4. shopping in Bluewater, 5. nomming more watermelon over the course of a few days, 6-13. printing, building my Minecraft family from across the pond, 14. fruit bowl my mum put together encouraging us to eat more fruits in the hot weather, 15. probably not the ideal hairstyle for sleeping but it was convenient for me.

As you might have noticed in most of the pictures I've taken with Instagram I've got my watermark showing clearly that the images belong to me. The app I used is iWatermark Free [technically the free version as I didn't want to pay £1.26 for the full one just yet as I wanted a basic watermarking app to start off with]. I think this app works fine for me and did what I wanted to achieve with basic tools.

Pixel Papercraft - Minecraft

hello everybody!

As an avid Minecrafter I have a habit of making something from a game to reality. I've made the cake block using felt but recently came across Pixel Papercraft and decided to go ahead and print off my own character along with the guys from the server I play on.

The templates I printed off with the usernames I remembered. The problem with usernames people go by on Minecraft you have to be specific with CAPS and small letters.

DIY Minecraft Painting ~ soon

Being a geek I like to bring game-related stuff into reality. So far I have only done that through cosplay (recently dressed up as Alice from Madness Returns Hysteria Mode).

The image below would be the painting I'm basing my current DIY project on. I've managed to do a small painting of the diamond ore but it's inspired me to have my own Minecraft paintings around the house.

I've drawn the grid so I can locate specific colours and hopefully it will turn out great :D watch out for the next few posts or so for the tutorial!

I've joined in the Minecraft craze! :D

Yep I thought it'll be until the summer arrives with my degree over and done with but after going through some big personal problems (still am) I've decided to treat myself to this wonderful game. Cannot define this game well enough to the point I love playing the demo but just seeing everyone else play Minecraft with different skins and different textures...I JUST HAD TO!!

Still getting the hang of it but I've always like to vlog for some time but doing research for that so hopefully on my Youtube channel (putting it to good use) I'll be doing tutorials for this game and for makeup/beauty and fashion :D.
